I know just how you feel. You see, I broke up with my boyfriend a few months ago. I was totally devastated. I think I would have done just about anything to get him back.

One thing that helped me make up with my boyfriend was to catch up with old friends.

You see, after the break up I realized I’d neglected them slightly while I was in loved up coupledom.

So I put some energy into renewing my friendships and really enjoyed myself.

Now, I’m not saying the reason to catch up with your friends is so you can get your boyfriend or girlfriend back. That would be cruel to your friends.

But if you’re genuinely interested in renewing your old friendships, then go for it! Once you’re feeling okay with yourself (or as much as you can when you’re dealing with a break up) it may be time to think about making up.
